Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Plumbing Trainer / Facilitator to deliver high-quality technical training to learners. The successful candidate will facilitate practical and theoretical sessions, mentor trainees, and ensure that participants acquire the necessary skills to meet industry standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to learner success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training sessions in plumbing (theory and practical)
• Develop lesson plans and training materials aligned with industry standards
• Demonstrate plumbing techniques, tools, and safety procedures
• Assess trainees’ performance through practical and written evaluations
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to learners
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during training
• Maintain training equipment and workshop tools in good condition
• Track and report on trainee progress and program outcomes
• Support continuous improvement of training programs

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma, HND, or Degree in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
• Relevant technical certification (e.g., NVTI, COTVET, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience (training/facilitation experience is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational and assessment skills
• High level of professionalism and commitment to skills development
