Position Summary

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in Bolgatanga. The successful candidate will manage procurement activities efficiently and transparently to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services that support mining operations.

You will drive cost efficiency, maintain supplier relationships, ensure compliance with company policies, and support operational continuity through effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement strategies in line with company policies and operational needs.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality-driven agreements.

• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related procurement documentation.

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Track inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast procurement needs.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports.

• Support cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
