Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development and Delivery Specialist to support the development, integration, and optimization of Telecel Cash services. The successful candidate will configure products, manage integrations, support deployments, and ensure platform performance and reliability. This role requires strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver high-quality fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure wallet products, tariffs, transaction limits, and promotions in line with business strategy
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-impact features
- Design, build, and optimize APIs and integrations with banks, merchants, aggregators, and third parties
- Ensure all integrations are secure, scalable, and highly available
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and integration efficiency
- Analyze technical specifications and implement system configurations and business logic
- Support system upgrades, patches, and platform expansions
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release readiness processes
- Ensure all features meet functional, performance, and security requirements before deployment
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Provide Level 2 support for production issues and manage complex escalations
- Collaborate with operations teams to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous service improvement
- Support SMS, USSD, APIs, and other messaging platforms related to mobile money services
- Manage middleware services supporting Telecel Cash operations
- Communicate technical updates and impacts to both technical and business stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role within fintech, telecom, or digital financial services
Professional/Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of mobile money and fintech platforms
- Proven experience with APIs, integrations, and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of SQL, system configuration, and transaction processing systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Ability to ensure system scalability, availability, and security
