We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pumpman to join our operations team in Accra.

Job Summary

The Pumpman will support offshore production and marine operations by maintaining, monitoring, and operating pumping systems and associated mechanical equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient functioning of offshore systems while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, and associated mechanical systems safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pumping equipment and machinery.
• Support cargo transfer, ballast operations, and fluid handling processes in accordance with operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Identify equipment faults and report maintenance or repair requirements promptly.
• Assist engineering and marine teams with operational and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
• Support emergency response procedures and participate in offshore safety drills.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Meet STCW Code II/4-5 requirements or possess a mechanical apprenticeship qualification or equivalent training scheme.
• High Voltage System Safety certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of offshore experience or experience working on seagoing tankers.
• Experience in offshore production operations, marine systems, or mechanical maintenance will be an advantage.
