Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control & Document Controller to ensure strict compliance with QA/QC standards while managing all project documentation effectively. The role combines site quality assurance responsibilities with structured document control to support smooth project delivery, reduce errors, and improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Control (QA/QC)

  • Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures and inspection and test plans (ITPs) across all project phases.
  • Inspect site works, materials, workmanship, and installations to ensure full compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Identify, record, and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformances.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, testing documentation, snag lists, and quality logs.
  • Coordinate material testing, certifications, approvals, and internal quality audits.
  • Support project teams in driving continuous improvement and reducing rework through quality best practices.

Document Control

  • Manage all project documentation, including drawings, reports, contracts, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Maintain a structured filing system with proper indexing, version control, and document archiving.
  • Track document submissions, revisions, approvals, and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project documents remain accurate, current, complete, and easily retrievable.
  • Coordinate document requirements with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present periodic document status reports and support project review meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QA/QC, document control, or construction project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, QA/QC systems, and documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, and document management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems is an added advantage.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is preferred.
