HR Consultant

Location: Accra

Company Profile

A reputable and growth-oriented organization is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Consultant to support and strengthen its human resource functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving people management strategies, improving organizational performance, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic and operational HR support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage employee relations matters and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and effectively.
  • Design and coordinate training, learning, and development programmes to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Improve and support performance management systems and employee evaluation processes.
  • Provide HR advisory support to management and employees on workplace policies and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in human resource management, consulting, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor regulations, and performance management practices.

  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
