Position Summary

Oliver Twist Shack is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of food, beverages, equipment, and operational supplies. The successful candidate will ensure the timely purchase of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting the efficient operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure food, beverages, equipment, and other operational supplies in line with company requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and monitor order status until delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store and kitchen teams to prevent stock shortages.
  • Verify deliveries to ensure purchased items meet quality and quantity specifications.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
  • Track purchasing costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and food safety standards.
  • Prepare regular procurement and inventory reports for management.
  • Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with inventory or procurement software is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
