Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Adeiso, Eastern Region, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Adeiso. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements, while supporting continuous improvement across production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety and quality management systems, including ISO standards and HACCP.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits across production processes.
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture across all operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post–national service relevant experience.
  • Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP).
  • Proven ability to analyze large volumes of data and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within diverse teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.
  • Willingness to work extra hours when required.
  • Demonstrated commitment as a safety champion in all operational activities.
