Job Summary

The Quality Control Officer will ensure that all products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and supporting audits to maintain the highest levels of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, processes, and finished products
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards
• Support internal and external audits and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and compliance reports
• Train staff on quality control procedures and food safety practices
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve overall product quality

Educational Requirements & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Food Science and Technology, Horticulture, or a related field
• Certification in Food Safety is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality control within the food, restaurant, or retail industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
• Proven experience in handling audits and inspections
