Role Overview
The Recruitment & Admissions Officer will lead the student recruitment and admissions process, ensuring ACTT attracts, evaluates, and enrolls talented learners from diverse backgrounds across Africa. Using a data-driven, impact-centered approach, this role drives enrollment growth, promotes inclusion, and supports students through smooth transitions into ACTT’s programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute in a start-up environment and help build strong recruitment and admissions systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end student recruitment and admissions processes, ensuring fair, transparent, and efficient evaluation.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality applicants from diverse backgrounds.
Analyze enrollment data to inform decision-making, track trends, and optimize recruitment strategies.
Maintain accurate records of applicant information, admissions decisions, and related reporting.
Organize and participate in recruitment events, open days, and outreach activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to support student onboarding and transition processes.
Ensure all recruitment and admissions activities align with ACTT’s values, integrity, and ethical standards.
Contribute to building and refining admissions and recruitment systems in a start-up environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Experience in admissions, recruitment, or student affairs.
Strong data analysis, decision-making, and reporting capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Core Competencies:
Passion for education access, inclusion, and diversity in learning environments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
