Position Summary
The Recruitment Manager will lead the end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition function, ensuring the organization attracts and hires qualified talent to support business objectives. The successful candidate will develop recruitment strategies, manage high-volume hiring campaigns, build strong talent pipelines, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient and effective recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company’s workforce plans and business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from workforce planning and sourcing to selection, offer management, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for technical, operational, and corporate roles.
High-Volume Recruitment
- Plan and manage high-volume recruitment campaigns to meet business staffing requirements.
- Identify innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates across multiple job categories.
- Monitor recruitment performance metrics and continuously improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment guidance and market insights.
- Build strong relationships with educational institutions, training providers, and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Lead campus recruitment initiatives, career fairs, and community outreach programmes to attract emerging talent.
Recruitment Operations and Compliance
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with Ghanaian labour laws, company policies, and best hiring practices.
- Develop and maintain recruitment policies, procedures, and documentation to support consistent hiring standards.
- Oversee the effective use of recruitment systems, databases, and reporting tools.
Employer Branding and Talent Attraction
- Promote the company’s employer brand through targeted recruitment campaigns and engagement initiatives.
- Enhance the candidate experience by ensuring a professional, timely, and transparent recruitment process.
- Represent the company at recruitment events, networking opportunities, and industry engagements.
Leadership and Continuous Improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop the recruitment team to achieve departmental goals.
- Monitor recruitment trends, labour market developments, and industry best practices to strengthen talent acquisition strategies.
- Prepare recruitment reports and provide data-driven recommendations to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ progressive recruitment experience, including at least three (3) years in a managerial role, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or other high-volume recruitment environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale recruitment campaigns and delivering high-volume hiring outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Ghanaian labour laws, recruitment regulations, and best hiring practices.
- Experience within the manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in community outreach, campus recruitment, and building partnerships with educational institutions.
