Overview

A well-established restaurant is seeking two skilled and dependable Chefs to join its restaurant team at Kasoa, Buduburam, near KAAF University.
The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing quality meals, maintaining consistency in food preparation, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Must have practical experience preparing pastries and fast-food items, including pizza, pies, shawarma, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients and manage food portions efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organized kitchen.
• Properly handle and store food ingredients to minimize waste.
• Work closely with Kitchen Assistants to ensure timely food preparation.
• Monitor ingredients and report stock requirements to the Supervisor.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, hotel, catering business or similar establishment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistent food quality.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
