Job Description

Kissel Foods is seeking a responsible, proactive and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the restaurant’s daily operations and ensure excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will supervise staff, coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations, maintain high hygiene standards, and help drive the restaurant’s overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Coordinate the activities of Chefs, Kitchen Assistants and the Receptionist.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure orders are prepared and served efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure proper use of restaurant supplies.
• Prepare basic daily sales, stock and operational reports.
• Train, motivate and support staff to maintain high performance.
• Ensure the restaurant is always clean, organized and welcoming.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of SHS Certificate, HND or Degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a restaurant, hospitality or food service environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are an advantage.
• Honest, organized, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shifts where necessary.
