Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety legislation and company standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver safety inductions, training, and awareness programmes for employees.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills and response plans.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and support compliance audits and inspections.
- Promote a positive safety culture through continuous engagement with employees and management.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Safety Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant IT tools.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Sound knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry best practices.
