Role Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sales Clerk to support our sales operations and order management processes. The successful candidate will ensure accurate order processing, effective coordination between sales, finance, and operations teams, and timely communication with customers.

This role requires strong organisation skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily sales quotations from sales orders using Premier Poultry’s order collection process
  • Verify and confirm customer payments with the Finance team for chicks and feed
  • Transfer customer orders from form submissions into the order tracking system accurately
  • Organise and maintain dispatch lists in line with the 2–3 week production and delivery schedule
  • Submit verified orders to the Operations team on time to support efficient dispatch planning
  • Contact customers to obtain missing or incomplete order information
  • Support continuous improvement of sales order processes in collaboration with the Sales team under the guidance of the National Sales Manager
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the National Sales Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Accounting, Animal Health, Argo-Economics, Veterinary Science, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities with the capacity to handle multiple customer requests and meet strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
