Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive School Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and development of our school facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that the school environment remains safe, functional, and conducive to learning at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of all school buildings and grounds
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Manage service providers, contractors, and vendor relationships effectively
  • Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenditures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Coordinate facility improvements, renovations, and projects
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation
  • Support school operations by ensuring all facilities are fully functional and safe

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health & safety standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate with contractors
