Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and vigilant Security Supervisor to oversee site security operations and protect company personnel, assets, equipment, and facilities. The successful candidate will supervise security personnel, implement security procedures, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance with company security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel.
• Monitor access to company facilities and construction sites to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Develop and enforce site security procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify and address security risks.
• Investigate security incidents, breaches, and suspicious activities, and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and support crisis management activities.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access control systems, where applicable.
• Ensure the protection of company property, equipment, and materials.
• Train and mentor security personnel to maintain high professional standards.
• Maintain accurate security records, logs, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to strengthen site security.
• Perform other security-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a security supervision role, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, access control, incident management, and risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CCTV systems and security monitoring technologies is an advantage.
• Must be willing to relocate to Sunyani or already reside in the area.
