Position Summary

Ashfoam is seeking a vigilant and technology-driven Senior Security Officer – CCTV & Surveillance to oversee the effective monitoring and management of the company’s surveillance systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting company assets, supporting investigations, monitoring security operations, and ensuring compliance with established security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect and respond promptly to security incidents and suspicious activities.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment to ensure optimal performance and continuous coverage.
• Review and analyse CCTV footage to support investigations and incident resolution.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Support internal investigations by gathering, preserving, and presenting surveillance evidence.
• Monitor access control systems and report any unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Coordinate with security personnel and management to respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents.
• Conduct routine inspections of CCTV equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain confidential security records and surveillance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Recommend improvements to surveillance operations and security systems to strengthen overall site security.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance operations, or corporate security.
• Proven experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance systems, incident reporting, and supporting investigations.
• Strong understanding of CCTV technology, access control systems, and security operations.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify unusual activities and potential security risks.
• Proficiency in using security technology and relevant computer applications.
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively under pressure.
