Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher to join our full-time remote team. You will deliver engaging and structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and global perspectives.

You will create a welcoming and interactive virtual classroom that encourages critical thinking, discussion, and active participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging online Social Studies lessons
• Teach key areas such as History, Geography, Civics, and Global Studies
• Facilitate discussions that promote critical thinking and global awareness
• Use interactive teaching strategies to engage students in a virtual setting
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain consistency, professionalism, and reliability in all teaching sessions
• Support students in exam preparation, including Cambridge curriculum standards (advantage)
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined online classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes

Requirements

• Full-time availability (this is not a part-time or side-gig role)
• Strong subject mastery in Social Studies or related disciplines
• Confidence and effectiveness in online teaching delivery
• Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage
• Proven reliability, consistency, and commitment to student success
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment
• Passion for education and learner development
