Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Keeper to oversee inventory management and ensure the efficient handling of automobile spare parts within our operations.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, and support efficient warehouse operations to ensure the timely availability of spare parts and materials.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock movements to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue automobile spare parts accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation exercises.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide timely stock status updates.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of spare parts and materials.
- Monitor stock replenishment requirements and support procurement planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions.
- Adhere to company policies, inventory procedures, and safety standards.
Educational and Professional Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automobile spare parts inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Experience in inventory reporting and stock analysis will be an advantage.
