Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent – Energy to oversee the electrical and instrumentation functions of our mining operations. You will lead energy management initiatives, ensure reliability of power systems, and support the operational efficiency of our large-scale gold mineral processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical, electronic, and instrumentation teams across mining operations.

• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical and power systems.

• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for energy infrastructure.

• Develop and enforce electrical and instrumentation standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineering teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize operational performance and achieve production targets.

• Oversee projects involving large-scale electrical and instrumentation installations and upgrades.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

• Membership in the Ghana Institution of Engineers or an equivalent engineering council body.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in gold mineral processing, with at least 5 years in a senior electrical, instrumentation, or management role, including experience with large-scale operations.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects.
