We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager / Business Planner to strengthen our production planning and supply chain operations.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager / Business Planner will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will ensure efficient material flow, optimal stock levels, and accurate production planning to support business objectives within a flexible packaging manufacturing environment.

This role requires a highly analytical and experienced professional capable of driving operational efficiency, improving forecasting accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making across supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain planning, production scheduling, and demand forecasting activities.
• Develop and implement efficient business planning processes aligned with production and sales targets.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement coordination, inventory control, and logistics planning.
• Ensure optimal stock levels to support continuous production while minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Oversee ERP system usage (SAP or equivalent) for planning, reporting, and inventory management.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage key supplier relationships.
• Develop accurate production forecasts and capacity planning models.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and business planning metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in supply chain and production planning.
• Strong experience within the flexible packaging or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling).
• Strong understanding of production planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.

Certifications

• Membership in recognized Supply Chain Management professional bodies is required or highly desirable.
• Lean Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.
