The Survey Assistant will support mine surveying activities by assisting in field data collection, setting out, and measurement tasks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who is eager to contribute to accurate surveying operations within a dynamic mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting daily pit face pick-ups and staking TBMs across mining faces
- Support the setting out of pit designs and ore mark-outs as required
- Assist in setting out and picking up survey points for geology exploration and RC grade control drilling
- Support stockpile surveys as needed
- Assist with farm surveys and line-cutting projects
- Set out ground control points for drone (UAV) survey operations
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Surveying or a related discipline from a recognized institution
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in mine surveying or a similar environment
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS
- Basic knowledge of UAV (drone) operations and mining survey practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Access
- Good data management and record-keeping skills
- High level of energy, self-motivation, and organizational ability
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate light vehicles
