We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team in Tamale and actively contribute to delivering high-quality education that supports holistic child development.


Role Overview

As a Teacher at Storyville School, you will actively plan, deliver, and assess lessons that support student learning and development. You will foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and respect while working closely with colleagues and parents to support student success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development
  • Support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and school programs
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching or relevant classroom experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and child development
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline positively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
