Role Overview

The Transport Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient utilization of the company’s fleet. You will ensure that vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and available to support business operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Manage day-to-day transport operations and ensure optimal fleet utilization
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair schedules
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and transport regulations
• Monitor vehicle performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
• Coordinate with drivers, technicians, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and usage
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability within transport operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, fleet management, and safety regulations
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely execution
