Position Summary
GBfoods is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Treasury Accountant to support cash management, treasury operations, and financial reporting activities within the finance team.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate cash flow monitoring, timely reconciliations, and effective support for treasury processes while developing strong expertise in financial management within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
This role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within treasury and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily treasury operations, including cash management and liquidity monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow reports and financial records.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in monitoring cash positions and supporting short-term cash forecasting.
- Support processing and tracking of payments in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions and supporting documentation.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and operational needs.
- Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP) to record and manage financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to treasury functions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of treasury processes and financial controls.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or general finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including cash flow management and reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of treasury operations and financial reporting processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and develop treasury expertise in a structured environment.
