Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Underwriting Administrator to support our underwriting team and contribute to the smooth operation of our insurance processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the underwriting team in evaluating, processing, and issuing insurance policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of underwriting activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the preparation of reports, quotations, and documentation for clients.

  • Coordinate communication between clients, brokers, and internal teams.

  • Monitor and follow up on pending applications to ensure timely processing.

  • Provide administrative support to enhance the efficiency of the underwriting operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • University degree in Insurance, Social Sciences, or related field.

  • Diploma in Insurance from GIC is an advantage.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in insurance or underwriting administration.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn insurance management systems.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
