Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Vehicle Dispatch Specialist to coordinate and manage vehicle dispatch operations efficiently. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the timely movement of goods, maintaining accurate vehicle and driver records, and supporting seamless collaboration between transportation, warehouse, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch company-owned vehicles based on operational requirements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate daily transportation activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of products and materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of drivers, vehicles, trip schedules, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor vehicle movements and track trip completion to ensure operational efficiency.
• Liaise closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to coordinate dispatch priorities and requirements.
• Identify, document, and report transportation or operational issues promptly for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company transportation procedures and operational standards.
• Support efforts to optimize vehicle utilization and improve dispatch processes.
• Prepare dispatch reports and maintain accurate operational documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and transportation function.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• Previous experience in dispatch operations, transport coordination, fleet management, logistics, or a related role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or logistics environment will be an added advantage.
