Position Overview
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee inventory management, warehouse coordination, stock accuracy, and logistics support activities. You will ensure that materials and products are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records and compliance with health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse performance, supporting production requirements, and ensuring the integrity of inventory throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are aligned with operational requirements.
- Monitor inventory transactions and conduct regular stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits.
- Support logistics planning and warehouse scheduling to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Utilize ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor inventory and warehouse activities.
- Prepare inventory, warehouse, and operational reports for management review.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to support business objectives.
- Ensure warehouse documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor warehouse performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
- Promote and enforce compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food manufacturing standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing inventory control.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics operations.
- Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or similar industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing inventory accuracy and coordinating warehouse activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
