Position Summary

The Learning Centre Officer will coordinate and support the effective operation of designated learning Centres in Elmina. The role requires an organized, proactive, and community-oriented professional who can manage projects, coordinate events, and serve as a public-facing representative of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities and programs within the learning centre.

  • Plan and manage community-based educational projects and events.

  • Engage with students, volunteers, community members, and stakeholders to promote participation and impact.

  • Monitor program implementation and prepare activity reports.

  • Represent the organization professionally in public and community engagements.

  • Support hybrid working arrangements, including virtual coordination and reporting.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning centre programs and operations.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in project management, event management, or community development.

  • Experience working in hybrid (in-person and remote) environments.

  • Experience in public-facing roles with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.

  • Passion for education, youth empowerment, and community development.
