Job Summary

EduSpots is seeking an experienced and people-focused People & Culture (HR) Manager to lead and strengthen its human resource functions within a remote working environment. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, support organizational development, and help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes
  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and people-management systems
  • Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices
  • Partner with senior management on strategic HR and organizational development initiatives
  • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities to attract and retain top talent
  • Coordinate staff learning and development initiatives, including safeguarding, workplace ethics, and code of conduct training
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive HR matters with professionalism and integrity
  • Promote a positive and collaborative remote working culture

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, with management-level experience preferred
  • Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance requirements in Ghana
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and systems
  • Experience working within a remote working environment in an HR capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership on strategic HR matters
  • Experience managing recruitment and talent acquisition processes
  • Experience coordinating staff training and professional development initiatives
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgement
  • Previous NGO experience is an added advantage
