Job Summary
EduSpots is seeking an experienced and people-focused People & Culture (HR) Manager to lead and strengthen its human resource functions within a remote working environment. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, support organizational development, and help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and people-management systems
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices
- Partner with senior management on strategic HR and organizational development initiatives
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities to attract and retain top talent
- Coordinate staff learning and development initiatives, including safeguarding, workplace ethics, and code of conduct training
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive HR matters with professionalism and integrity
- Promote a positive and collaborative remote working culture
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, with management-level experience preferred
- Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance requirements in Ghana
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and systems
- Experience working within a remote working environment in an HR capacity
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership on strategic HR matters
- Experience managing recruitment and talent acquisition processes
- Experience coordinating staff training and professional development initiatives
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgement
- Previous NGO experience is an added advantage
