  • Partner with the Gender Equity Coordinator to expand and strengthen the Ignite Equity programme, empowering young people to explore topics including gender equality, child rights, leadership, entrepreneurship, career aspirations, period poverty, and sexual harassment awareness.
  • Develop and implement strategies that promote female leadership throughout the EduSpots network.
  • Design and deliver engaging educational resources, training programmes, and learning materials that promote child rights, safeguarding, gender equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with teachers, volunteers, Catalysts, and community leaders to co-create community-led educational programmes rooted in local knowledge and aspirations.
  • Strengthen safeguarding practices and promote child protection across all learning environments.
  • Support citizenship education initiatives and contribute to wider learning programmes and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor programme effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements based on evidence and community feedback.
  • Advocate for inclusive education and ensure every learner’s voice is heard, respected, and valued.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and development of EduSpots as the organisation expands its impact across Ghana.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Demonstrated classroom teaching experience, particularly within rural Ghanaian communities.
  • Proven experience designing and managing education or community development programmes.
  • Experience promoting child rights, safeguarding, gender equity, or inclusive education initiatives.
  • Experience working with educators, volunteers, community leaders, or non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
  • Experience facilitating training, mentoring, or capacity-building programmes is highly desirable.
