Position Summary

The Agent Banking and Payments Manager will lead the strategy, operations, and growth of agency banking and merchant payment services. The role requires a strong understanding of digital financial services and the ability to develop and manage partnerships, optimize payment channels, and drive business growth.

This is a full-time position based in Accra.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand agency banking and merchant payment networks.

  • Manage relationships with agents, merchants, and digital payment partners.

  • Monitor performance and compliance of agency banking and payment operations.

  • Drive digital financial service adoption, including mobile and merchant payment solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processes and customer experience.

  • Track KPIs, prepare reports, and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and revenue growth in payments and digital banking.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBA, MA, BSc, or BA in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of agency banking, merchant payments, and digital financial services.

  • Proven experience in managing financial services operations, partnerships, or payments.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
