  • Lead the development of grant proposals, concept notes, and institutional funding applications.

  • Cultivate and manage donor relationships to secure both program-specific and flexible institutional funding.

  • Build funding pipelines for research, teacher training, technology innovation, and continental convenings.

Strategic Partnerships Development

  • Build collaborative relationships within education and inclusive learning networks.

  • Support partnerships for key initiatives, including conferences, fellowships, research programs, and digital platforms.

  • Represent ADO in high-level meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.

Institutional Advancement and Visibility

  • Strengthen ADO’s global positioning as a leading organization addressing dyslexia and learning differences in Africa.

  • Support the development of institutional communications, thought leadership, and partnership materials.

  • Work closely with the Executive Director to engage high-level stakeholders across philanthropy, education, and policy sectors.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term organizational growth.

Corporate and Sponsorship Partnerships

  • Develop partnerships with corporate organizations to support programs and research initiatives.

  • Lead sponsorship outreach for major events, including the Africa Dyslexia Conference and other convenings.

  • Build long-term collaborations with organizations advancing inclusive education and social impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships development, international development, or nonprofit leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in securing grants or institutional funding.

  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management skills.
