Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The successful candidate will nurture the overall development of each child, maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities for preschool children
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, providing feedback to parents
• Manage classroom behavior while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and school activities
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s growth, achievements, and needs
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Certification or training in Montessori, EYFS, or Cambridge Early Years is an advantage
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a preschool or early years educational setting
• Experience in an international school environment is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of early childhood development (6 months – 5 years)
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to design and deliver engaging learning activities
• Strong observation, assessment, and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with parents and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team

• Residents of Osu and surrounding areas are preferred
