Role Overview
Danone is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support the efficient operation of its production facilities in Accra. The successful candidate will drive maintenance planning and scheduling activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and alignment with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
- Monitor maintenance activities and adjust plans to meet changing operational priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including schedules, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, optimize performance, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce operational risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a related role.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques.
- Apply excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze complex problems and implement practical solutions.
- Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
