Position Overview

Asanko Gold Ghana Limited seeks a results-driven and safety-focused Mine Supervisor to oversee daily open-pit mining operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient production, enforce safety standards, and lead operational teams to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily open-pit mining activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved in line with mine plans.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor equipment utilization and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate with engineering, geology, and maintenance teams.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and operational records.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to enhance performance.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Mining Engineering
  • Or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mine Supervisor in open-pit mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
• Minerals Commission Mine Captain Certificate will be an advantage.
