Job Summary

Calvary Redemption Church is seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the church. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills while supporting leadership and engaging with members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to church leadership and departments.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone communications.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and church events, ensuring proper coordination.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
  • Assist in organizing church programs, events, and activities.
  • Handle inquiries from members and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of a First Degree; a Master’s Degree in any field is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support a faith-based environment.
