Job Summary

CDD-Ghana is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Afrobarometer Assistant Project Manager to support survey operations and research projects. The successful candidate will assist in managing survey activities, coordinate research teams, and ensure the accurate collection and analysis of data while contributing to knowledge dissemination and stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of Afrobarometer survey projects
  • Support survey field operations and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
  • Collaborate with research teams to collect, process, and analyze survey data
  • Contribute to reports, publications, and presentations on survey findings
  • Monitor project budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure efficient operations
  • Keep abreast of theoretical developments, current debates, and best practices in survey research
  • Coordinate with local and regional partners, stakeholders, and survey teams
  • Travel regularly within Africa and occasionally beyond to support survey operations

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree, preferably in Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in survey work in the NGO sector, public sector, or academic institutions
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Awareness of theoretical developments and current debates in social research and governance
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Africa and occasionally internationally
