Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to deliver engaging and practical science lessons that inspire curiosity and a passion for discovery. The successful candidate will create a stimulating learning environment, support student development, and contribute actively to the school community.


Key Responsibilities

Classroom Management and Student Engagement

  • Maintain a disciplined, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Encourage active student participation through discussions, group work, and hands-on experiments
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement

Assessment and Evaluation

  • Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, and practical evaluations
  • Evaluate student performance objectively and maintain accurate academic records
  • Identify learning gaps and provide targeted support and guidance

Curriculum and Continuous Learning

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance science teaching strategies and resources
  • Stay updated with current trends and advancements in science education
  • Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and training programs

Extra-Curricular and Community Involvement

  • Organize and supervise science clubs, fairs, and competitions
  • Encourage student participation in STEM initiatives, environmental projects, and community outreach programs
  • Promote curiosity, ethical conduct, and a strong interest in scientific inquiry

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain well-organized lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment records
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school leadership on student progress
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, planning sessions, and school development initiatives

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification and license
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for child-centered learning
