Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
• Review and analyze financial statements, transactions, and processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions to management for improved efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with departments to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• University degree or professional qualification in Accounting.
• Qualified or partly qualified member of a recognized professional accounting body (ACCA UK / ICA GH).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a financial institution (excluding National Service).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
