Job Title: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer

Location: Adeiso, Eastern Region, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The HSE Officer will drive and maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace across all company operations. The role requires proactive monitoring, implementation of HSE policies, and continuous improvement of safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international HSE standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Organize and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for staff.
  • Monitor environmental performance and ensure proper waste management practices.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to continuously improve safety culture and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Professional HSE certification is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
