Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial operations, strengthen cost management systems, and support data-driven decision-making. This role is critical in ensuring financial discipline, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems to track materials, labour, and overheads
  • Analyse product costing, identify margin improvement opportunities, and support pricing strategies
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with production targets
  • Manage cost accounting across raw materials, energy, labour, and cost-per-ton metrics
  • Monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and overall plant performance
  • Oversee inventory accounting, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and deliver insights to support operational decision-making
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure continuous production operations
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
  • Partner with operations teams to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and profitability improvements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CA, or CIMA) is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
