Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations. You will play a critical role in sourcing, supplier management, and logistics coordination while ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.


Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Review and analyze departmental requisitions and determine effective sourcing strategies (local and international).
  • Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and enforce adherence to contractual terms, addressing any non-conformances.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and value.
  • Maintain and continuously update the supplier database in line with company standards.

Order & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate order acknowledgements and maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track orders and provide regular updates on delivery timelines, shortages, and backlogs.
  • Coordinate logistics and identify cost-effective and efficient delivery solutions.
  • Facilitate inspection, testing, and handover of procured goods to relevant stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Liaise with internal teams to clarify procurement needs and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support procurement initiatives and prepare analytical reports to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and internal policies.

Compliance & Safety (OHSE)

  • Adhere to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report hazards and actively participate in risk assessments.
  • Promote safe handling and use of tools, equipment, and materials.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support supplier audits and document findings, including non-conformances and improvement actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support procurement operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills.
