Key Responsibilities

Talent, Performance & Skills Development

  • Design and implement talent development frameworks aligned with business performance and capability needs.
  • Partner with Learning teams to deliver reskilling and ups-killing initiatives.
  • Coach line managers to identify development needs and build team capabilities.
  • Embed mentoring, coaching, and experiential learning across the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate development programs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage targeted programs such as graduate and diversity initiatives.

Career Management & Planning

  • Develop and maintain structured career pathways and development standards.
  • Enable employees to define and achieve career goals through effective frameworks and tools.
  • Promote internal mobility, job rotations, and career progression opportunities.
  • Educate employees and managers on career ownership and development practices.

Employer Brand Enablement & EVP Support

  • Strengthen employer brand by aligning talent practices with employee experience and EVP.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, and Marketing teams.
  • Provide talent insights, employee stories, and experience data to support brand positioning.
  • Support representation at career fairs, campus engagements, and professional platforms.

Succession & Key Talent Development

  • Partner with Organisational Development teams to support succession planning.
  • Translate succession outcomes into targeted development plans.
  • Design and monitor leadership readiness programs, mentoring, and stretch assignments.
  • Track talent pipeline strength and provide insights to leadership forums.
  • Advise leaders on closing capability gaps and strengthening succession pipelines.

Organisational Culture & Engagement

  • Use talent insights to identify risks and implement targeted interventions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and growth.
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee voice, engagement, and inclusion.
  • Embed talent practices that reinforce a high-performance culture.

Talent Data, Insights & Strategy

  • Analyse workforce data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards and reports on talent trends and performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve talent outcomes.
  • Support evidence-based discussions at leadership and governance levels.
  • Continuously refine talent strategies based on insights and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification is an advantage.
  • 6–8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in talent management, learning, or organisational development.
  • Proven experience working in complex or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of talent management strategy aligned with business needs.

Knowledge & Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the telecommunications and technology sector
  • Expertise in organisational development and talent frameworks
  • Knowledge of Ghana Labour Act and employment legislation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder and project management capability
  • Proficiency in people analytics and workforce insights
  • Knowledge of emerging talent management trends and best practices
  • Experience with succession planning, leadership development, and performance systems
