Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Metallurgy Technical Services to lead metallurgical performance and technical optimization at our Bibiani process plant. You will drive process efficiency, support production targets, and provide technical leadership in mineral processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize metallurgical processes to maximize plant performance and gold recovery
• Provide technical oversight for flotation and gold recovery processes
• Monitor and improve process control systems and operational efficiency
• Conduct detailed data analysis, including mass balance and water balance modeling
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
• Support plant operations with technical guidance and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Prepare and deliver accurate technical and operational reports for various stakeholders
• Contribute to plant design improvements, upgrades, and optimization projects
• Support Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) management and mine-wide water balance systems where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Higher National Diploma (Extraction Metallurgy), or equivalent qualification
• Valid Minerals Commission Process Superintendent Certificate of Competency
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in metallurgical and mineral processing operations
• Proven experience in flotation gold recovery processes
• Strong technical and analytical capability in metallurgical plant operations
• In-depth understanding of process control philosophies and systems
• Advanced problem-solving skills applied to mineral processing
• Strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety compliance
• Extensive knowledge of mass balance techniques, water balance modeling, and plant design principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong reporting capability
• Knowledge of Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) management and mine-wide water systems is an advantage
