Role Overview

Telecel Ghana seeks a Product Manager – Financial Marketplace & Integrations to lead the development, expansion, and optimization of financial product ecosystems across lending, insurance, and investment services. You will drive strategic partnerships, oversee API-based integrations, and ensure seamless delivery of digital financial services across our platforms.

You will work closely with internal product, technology, and commercial teams, as well as external financial institutions and fintech partners, to build scalable, compliant, and customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the financial marketplace product strategy across lending, insurance, and investment verticals.
• Identify, structure, and manage strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, insurers, and other financial service providers.
• Drive API integration initiatives to enable seamless connectivity between Telecel platforms and partner systems.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and optimize commercial models that ensure mutual value for Telecel and its partners.
• Monitor product performance using data analytics and market insights, and continuously improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Ensure all solutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including Bank of Ghana (BoG), National Insurance Commission (NIC), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product releases on time and within scope.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fintech, digital financial services, banking, insurance partnerships, or related fields.
• Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or platform-based product management roles.

Core Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic partnerships and negotiate win-win commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of API integrations and digital platform ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of financial services products, including lending, insurance, and investment solutions.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Sound understanding of the Ghanaian financial regulatory environment (BoG, NIC, SEC).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
