Role Overview
The company seeks a skilled and solutions-oriented Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, performance, and reliability of its fleet and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will ensure optimal vehicle performance, minimize downtime, and support safe and efficient haulage operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of trucks and mechanical systems within the fleet
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Monitor fleet performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability
- Supervise technical staff and coordinate repair activities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for parts procurement and servicing needs
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Auto Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant working experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within transport, logistics, or haulage operations

- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles and mechanical systems
