We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and contribute to business growth through effective client acquisition and relationship management.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Executive will drive the sale of insurance products by identifying prospects, building strong client relationships, and closing deals. The role requires a proactive, target-driven professional with strong communication skills and a passion for sales excellence.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Execution & Client Acquisition

  • Sell insurance policies and successfully close deals to achieve assigned targets
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
  • Establish strong initial rapport with potential clients and convert leads into business
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance expectations

Pipeline & Records Management

  • Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline to track prospects and opportunities
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of sales progress and delivery outcomes

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Provide timely follow-ups to prospects and clients to support conversion and retention
  • Demonstrate professionalism and trustworthiness in all client interactions

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor personal sales performance and actively work toward continuous improvement
  • Report sales activities and pipeline updates in a clear and structured manner
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability and high performance within the team

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in sales (insurance sales experience is an advantage)
  • Strong ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to identify new customers and negotiate effectively
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving goals
