Job Summary

The Cost Controller monitors and manages the resort’s costs to ensure financial efficiency and profitability. The role focuses on analyzing expenses, controlling inventory, and supporting management with accurate financial insights while maintaining high standards of accountability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control operational costs across departments, especially food and beverage
• Analyze cost variances and prepare detailed cost reports
• Manage inventory systems, including stock counts and reconciliation
• Track purchases and ensure alignment with budgets and company policies
• Collaborate with procurement and department heads to optimize cost efficiency
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports for management review
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial procedures
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality
• Support audits and ensure accuracy of financial data

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in cost control, preferably in hospitality
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of inventory and cost management systems
